The spirit of the human wants to be expressed in whatever way it chooses. In addition to survival needs, the Learner needs to be human in both nature and spirit. Human nature is to know what one is and what one is not, what one must to do to experience life in their chosen ways. The human spirit is born to be free, and it will seek freedom out when it’s barred, whether that is in the form of external or personal oppression.
