The closeness to a universal love can be measured by one’s personal sense of love. For example, a person naturally seeks behavior that they find preferential. However, sometimes a person’s preference may harm others. If that kind of behavior creates victims of acts the performer wouldn’t want done to them, then the behavior could be said to be deviant because it leads one away from the path of brotherly love or human kinship. A Learner understands that conforming to or rebelling against what others believes to be right isn’t what the practice of love fidelity is about. Instead, it is about avoiding behaviors that lead to victims of intense hardships, like betrayal, oppression, violence, and manipulation.
