This is the ability to see the accepted path, or social map, for success of oneโ€™s own culture. Itโ€™s paired with the ability to recognize whether or not the path suits oneโ€™s goals. The social map generally looks like this: primary education, university, marriage, a house, children, and so on. The trap of the map is that everyone seems to use the same compass, and people start to feel the need to fit into the mold. For those who donโ€™t find the usual path suitable, they tend to feel forced to follow it, no matter how much of themselves they need to ignore and sacrifice. The Learner sees many paths, some that differ greatly from cultural and social expectations of them. They know that whatever they choose will lead them closer to their purpose.
