This is the inspiration that one is the universe and the universe is oneself. Oneself and the universe are the same polarity, just different extremes. Like cold and hot exist as two extremes on a pole called “temperature”, you and the universe exist on the extremes of a pole called “love”. The self represents individuality, limitation, and dependence, while the universe represents sameness, liberation, and independence. The two things are inseparable because they are the same dualistic pole. A Learner knows that they are the same person as everyone else. They say to someone, “You are me, and I am you.” The reason it is so easy to love and respect everyone is because one sees other people as expressions of themselves.
