Desire Formula
This is how you can find your Desire in life.
Info
- WHERE am I?: This gives you a direction and a motivation.
What does my family need?
Who depends on me?
Which relationships align with me and which don’t?
What features of my external world don’t match my inner world, and how can I change that, even if my contribution seems tiny?
I accept that I am a human right now, so how does that reconcile with how annoying I find human needs?
- (plus) WHO am I?: This is the nature of the light or dark you have to share with the external world.
What are the values, principles, and beliefs in my inner world?
What kind of person do I want to be?
Does my background story control my future, or can I fix past traumas to have a better future?
If I don’t work to see my inner world in the external world, how can I better the world and reach my dream?
What circumstances and which people have issues that only my unique perspective can guide?
- (equals) WHAT do I want?:
- If I can achieve this desire without the external world—without anyone knowing, without any praise, and without any validation—would I still want to do it?
If the answer to step 3 is yes, then this is something that aligns with you. If it’s no, then it means that you don’t actually want it. You only want people to see you get it.
