This consciousness describes a person who is emotionally numb. They feel like they are floating above their life, and it’s difficult for them to see things from another person’s specific perspective. It’s hard for them to empathize with people because they are robotic in their thinking.
The downside to this is that they lose passion, connection, meaning and purpose, and relationship depth. Everything feels like the same boring, shallow experience. To them, people seem like emotional messes that can’t think straight.
